The Canada Aviation and Space Museum Aerospace Experiences program is designed to inspire and educate students about the vast opportunities in aviation, space, and mobility. Through partnerships with industry leaders, government, and educational institutions, the program offers hands-on learning experiences, research projects guided by industry mentors, and culminates in the Career Pathways Fair.
Throughout the fall, 500 students from the Ottawa Carleton District School Board work with industry mentors to research solutions to five major challenges facing these sectors. They will showcase their final projects at the Career Fair to their peers, exhibiting organizations, and an additional 1,500 students expected from across all local school boards. This event not only showcases the student innovations, but connects all these students to around 30 exhibitors, encouraging the students to explore careers in these critical sectors and ensuring Canada’s continued leadership in aerospace.
The Eastern Ontario Chapter of the Ninety-Nines are event exhibitors, promoting women in aerospace!
