The Eastern Ontario Chapter of the Ninety-Nines (EOC99s) supports women pilots in the Ottawa, Kingston, Cornwall, and other areas of Eastern Ontario!
The Ninety-Nines Mission Statement: The Ninety-Nines® is the International Organization of Women Pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships and mutual support while honouring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.
We participate in community outreach and engagement to encourage women and girls to consider a career in aviation. We visit schools, and participate in career fairs and volunteer at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa. We also hold an annual "Meet a Pilot Day" in which community members can come to an airport and meet a pilot to learn more about careers in aviation. We organize Girls Fly Days in which volunteer pilots take dozens of girls and young women on their first flights in small aircraft. The Ninety-Nines also provide mentoring, scholarships, and support for women who are learning to fly and pursuing careers.
We also plan aviation related tours, social events, and we fly!
